These last few weeks I’ve felt like my attention has been scattered in a thousand different directions. Like the scattering of seeds, we cast our intentions out into the surrounding soil. We wait, we see what sprouts, we direct intention to the seedlings that take root. We return to a cultivation of the innermost self, the anchor, the core. And from there we dance between interior and exterior.
Physically, this is a practice of slowing down, strengthening the core, and twisting/radiating from there. It includes the following:
6-minute centering meditation
radiating stretches on back/seated
agni namaskar (fire salutation, gentle variation)
core work
twisting variations of
uttanasana (standing forward fold)
tip toe pose
low lunge
hamstring and shoulder opening
marichyasana (sage’s twist)
baddha konasana (hip opening)
kapalabhati pranayama (skull shining breath)
savanna (final relaxation)
Hope you enjoy!
